From the engineering business started by Colonel Armour Polk in 1932, and through the partnerships of Polk, Powell, and Hendon in 1943, and Harry Hendon and Associates in 1957, our practice of engineering services has developed for the benefit of our governmental, industrial, and commercial clients. In 1984, the Firm became Hendon Engineering Associates, Inc. to better reflect the organization into which we have evolved and to better represent the clients we serve.  For over 75 years, we have been designing water, wastewater, and natural gas facilities throughout the Southeast.  From water line extensions to 70 MGD treatment facilities, we offer quality full service engineering from conceptual design to project construction.
